XBOX 360 - I don't get what happened there
I was kind of hoping for something like the Halo 2 launch. This seemed kind of anti-climactic. The take away for me was reported glitches and supply problems and some pissed off people who put money down and didn't get a console on launch day.
I played it the first day on a hi-def projector and was impressed in places but not blown away. I wasn't expecting to be totally floored but in places I thought the game should have looked a little better.
Either way, it looks like I'm going to have to wait a few weeks to get one. It would have been nice to have a really good launch game, like there was with the original Halo.
If they keep up at this pace, the story is going to be PS3 - not XBOX.

Yahoo Think Tank - Acclaimed Wank
I don't care if this is a top-rated idea on the site. Crucifixes are not appropriate product-placement fodder. Anyone who knows anything about Christianity would immediately recognize that Jesus' blood has deep religious meaning to hundreds of millions of Christians around the world. Smart money says - don't mess with that.
Creativity should always be informed by intelligence and common sense. It's the same reason why you wouldn't want Andrew Dice Clay emceeing your wedding reception. Funny? Sure. Appropriate? Not a chance. Bad idea.
Maybe Zippo can sponsor these guys when they burn in hell.

I love these kinds of creative experiments. I can't decide whether it glorifies or demystifies the creative process.
Either way, I think I am going to start wearing a toque to work more often.
